Wedding Details I love

Over the past few years, I’ve been to a ton of weddings and I’ve been able to learn a lot from all of them. If there’s one thing I’ve realized, it’s that details are what make a wedding special; not how much money you spend or how much time you spend planning. It’s the little things. The small details here and there that make your guests feel special, details that show off the bride and groom’s personality and that make your theme come alive. I’ve included a few pictures below from some of the weddings I attended earlier this year. Enjoy!

Our friends Tammy & Billy went for a relaxed and rustic look at their wedding. Their theme was a perfect fit for the old inn where they had their ceremony and reception. It made for the perfect summer wedding.

I loved how they used these old soda containers for their cupcake stands. So cute!

Our friend Shannon got married at an old-fashioned Southern mansion in North Carolina’s countryside. The ceremony happened right before sunset and made for some beautiful scenery.

One of my favorite things about her wedding were the mason jars filled with wildflowers that hung on shepherd’s hooks. They lined the rows of the ceremony and it made for a beautiful entrance.

My friend AK’s wedding was a grand affair at a country club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It was the epitome of a Southern affair and I couldn’t help but snap a few pictures of her amazing wedding cake centered in the reception hall. Gorgeous!

I hope these pictures give you a little inspiration for your own big day! I have more weddings coming up this year and next year so I’m sure I’ll have more inspiration to share with you!
