Our Honeymoon: The Resort

You may have noticed that I did a little updating to my blog design. I figured with a new last name, that my blog could also use a little sprucing up. I still might make a few tweaks here and there, but overall, I like the fresher and cleaner look. I hope you do too!

Now, onto the honeymoon photos…

We stayed at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian resort on the lovely tropical island of St. Lucia. It.was.fantastic. This resort totally exceeded our honeymoon expectations and we couldn’t have asked for a better week. Some of our friends have stayed at this particular Sandals resort before and assured us that we would have a good time. They were right.

We took over 400 photos on our  honeymoon because we just couldn’t get over how beautiful everything was. I can’t believe that WE took these photos – they’re not professional and they’re not doctored – it’s just the pure beauty of the island and the resort.

After a grueling 12 hour trip, this is what we were greeted with upon arrival (along with a glass of rum punch.) It was just what we needed to see – a beautiful St. Lucian sunset.

Then, we were directed to our beautiful room. Room 1212 – woot!

Since the resort knew we were celebrating our honeymoon, they covered the room in flower blooms and greeted us with a bottle of Champagne. How nice!

We has the option of having breakfast delivered to our room every morning which was awesome. Breakfast in bed? Yes, please!

Throughout the rest of the week, we continued to be in awe of the gorgeousness of the island. We felt so lucky to get to spend a whole week in this beauty!

Later this week, I’ll have a bunch more pictures to upload of all the different things we did while in St. Lucia. Until then, I hope you have a great week!
