Girls’ weekend in DC!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I had the best time catching up with some of my best friends in Washington, D.C.

DC is such an amazing city, especially this time of year! I just love all the pretty row houses and tree-lined streets.

I arrived just in time for dinner on Friday. We decided to have a quick drink and appetizer at Drafting Table (the fried pickles were delicious!) while we were waiting for a table at Estadio. The food was wonderful and we loved getting to share a bunch of different small plates. Plus, we had a view of the kitchen which made the experience even more fun!

Saturday’s weather was really disappointing, but we decided to venture out to Haymarket to visit The Winery at La Grange. What a beautiful vineyard – even in the rain!

We had stopped by Trader Joe’s before we went to the winery so we could have a picnic. We ate inside because of the weather but we still had a wonderful view.

Later that day we did some shopping damage at the outlets before dinner at Firefly (also delicious!). I wish I would have gotten some more pictures but it was raining even harder by this point so I just didn’t have the chance to snap any shots.

On Sunday I was lucky enough to catch up with one of my best friends from college who also lives in DC. We met for brunch at B Too and had mimosas and a gourmet Belgian breakfast. Yum!

This weekend was so much fun I was sad to see it come to an end. I’m already looking forward to my next trip back!

Hope you guys have a great week!
